Away Day 2025 photos

On a bright and cheerful Saturday in May, Hope Church Tolworth embarked on its very first away day, held at a welcoming church in Banstead. From the moment we arrived, there was a buzz of excitement. This wasn’t just a day trip — it was a chance for us to spend quality time together as a church family, make new memories, and grow deeper in friendship and faith.

The day was packed full of fun for everyone, young and old alike. The grassy grounds provided the perfect setting for outdoor activities.

Children were especially thrilled by the creative activities on offer. One of the highlights was the face painting station. Of course, no away day would be complete without good food and great company. We shared a hearty hog roast lunch together, picnic-style.

The day drew to a close with a special Thanksgiving service, led by Bart. As we gathered together, Bart reminded us of the importance of gratitude — to pause and give thanks to God for His goodness, for the joy of community, and for the simple blessings of a day like this.
